Product Description

Relieve discomfort from severe tendonitis and tennis elbow pain. The Platinum Tennis Elbow Support’s combination of 6 high-energy, 13,800 gauss neodymium and 4,300 gauss ceramic magnets produces powerful magnetic fields able to penetrate completely through the forearm, providing significant relief of discomfort in less time.

The Platinum tennis elbow support helps increase blood flow, carrying more oxygen and nutrients to forearm muscles and tendons. In the case of an injury or repetitive strain, greater blood flow speeds the healing process, helping to relieve pain and swelling and improve your arm mobility.

Therion® supports and braces are made with patented Acticel high-performance fabric. Acticel provides superior compressive support, and offers significant advantages over other neoprene and elastic support materials.

Acticel technology maintains an ideal comfort zone between your skin and the support at any level of physical activity, allowing Therion orthopedic supports to be worn for long periods of time without overheating and without perspiration build-up.

An adjustable compression strap reduces strain on your forearm (for example, pain experienced when playing golf, tennis, or lifting heavy objects) and provides a customized fit. You

I do not rate very many products 5 star, but will this one. I have golfers elbow (pain on the inside of my elbow, near the “funny bone). The stap is very easy to put on and does not effect ones arm use at all. I have used it now a couple of times on the range and one time playing 18 holes and my pain has been reduced by about 90%. I suspect with continued use the pain will be gone completely. In tennis elbow the pain is on the outside portion of your elbow. For golfers elbow you put the brace on 2 fingers below the crease in your elbow and have the gel pad located on the inside of your forearm. For tennis elbow you put the brace on 2 fingers below the crease in your elbow. If you tighten your grip on your hand you can see a muscle buldge out on your foremarm just below your elbow. It is that simple!

Bye the way, I also use this strap when I am doing weight lifting curls and it works great for that too!

For tennis elbow – a strain of the tendon on the top “bump” of the elbow, this therapeutic aid helps to assist healing of a very difficult injury. The support is simply a strap with a pressure pad stiched into it with the magnets for pain relief therapy built in. The purpose is to put pressure on the tendon/muscle just in front of the tennis elbow pain area. The pressure pad will take some pressure off the tendon insertion area on the bone allowing less stress for healing. Tendonitis heals very slowly, so plan on wearing this strap for several weeks or even months (for my latest tendonitis bout it was 4 months). The key is to not do anything that aggravates the tendonitis pain, as this re-injures the tendon and delays healing. I have found that warm packs twice a day (20-30 minutes per session) speeds healing by increasing circulation to the injured tendon. To apply the heat, take a cloth/towel and place over the elbow folded so that there is about an inch or so of fabric above the injured area. Now position the elbow under a water faucet and allow warm to hot water slowly dribble into the cloth fabric and onto the elbow area. The cloth tempers the water and holds the warmed water over the tendonitis area. The water must be warm to increast circulation. The skin should be red after 20-30 minutes of treatment time. Do this routine twice a day and wear the elbow brace between sessions and the tendonitis will resolve much faster.

The tennis elbow strap is mostly comfortable to wear, even cinched up tight, stays in place without slipping, contains no latex, and is washable.
